6 medium potatoes, peeled & cubed
1 small carrot, grated
1 small onion, chopped
2 tbs jalapenos, seeded & chopped
3 cups water
2 tbs & 2 tsp beef bouillon granules
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/8 tsp pepper
2 lbs ground beef
5 cups milk, divided
6 tbs flour
1 pkg (16 oz) velvetta, cubed
crumbled cooked bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first nine ingredients in large pot; bring to boil. Reduce heat & simmer 15 - 20 minutes. In skillet brown ground beef. Add to soup. Stir in 4 cups milk. Cook until heated through. Combine flour & 1 cup milk until smooth. Add to soup. Bring to a boil until it thickens. Add cheese & bacon.
