7 cups unbleached flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbs sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 1/2 cups shortening
1 - 12 oz beer, room temperature

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Stir in beer, mixing well. Refrigerate dough for at least 30 minutes or over night. Roll dough to 1/8" thickness on floured board. Cut rounds of dough about 5 - 6" in diameter. Place about 2 tbs of filling in each. Fold dough over. Moisten edges, seal & crimp edges with fork tines. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375º for 15 minutes or until golden in color. Remove to rack to cool & glaze.
