1 cup soft butter
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg, separated
2 cups flour
½ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup finely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in vanilla and egg yolk. Add dry ingredients with half cup of the pecans. Mix well. Press into a greased 15 x 10 x 1 in sheet pan. Brush top with slightly beaten egg white and sprinkle with remaining pecans, press in slightly. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Cut into bars while warm.
