5 cups water
1 packet shrimp dashi no moto (add dried shrimp to enhance taste)
1 sliced daikon (turnip) (optional)
+ other vegetables, bamboo shoots, etc
1 strips Konbu (sliced in 2" pieces)
1 pkg Hokkigai clams (from Vegas) or boiled canned clams (sliced)
4 pieces dried shiitake (sliced)
6-8 pieces mochi
1/2 bunch mizuna (cut in 2" lengths)

Directions:
Directions:
Add all ingredients (except mochi and mizuna) in large pot and boil together.
Prepare mochi by washing off flour and microwave for a few minutes, until soft.
When ready to serve, place mochi and mizuna in bowl with soup.
