6 C salted water

Boil chicken until done. Remove from burner; leave chicken in broth for at least 30 minutes. Remove chicken from bones and dip off excess fat from broth. Pour broth into a 9x13x2 inch pan. Add 1/4 C butter; thicken broth with flour mixed with milk (1 TBS flour per cup of broth). Let broth simmer just till it begins to thicken; add chicken. Stir till chicken is evenly distributed in pan. Cover with biscuits. Spread with butter or fat then bake at 400º for 20-30 minutes or until brown.
