Personal Notes:
My Dad was always asked to bring his spaghetti sauce to family gatherings and either Mom or Aunt Millie brought their cheese cake. Dad was eventually diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and as our family gathered around to be with him we each made a special dinner. It was then I asked him for this recipe and I later sent it to my sisters and nieces and nephews in a Valentine card after he died. Years later my son John and Micki his wife went to CT to visit Mom and the topic of Grampa's famous spaghetti sauce came up and it turned out that this was actually Gramma's recipe! We had a good laugh!
