2 lb ground venison
2 lb pork or beef, ground
2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper
4 1/2 tsp sage
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp sugar in 1/2 C water
1/2 tsp oregano (if desired)
1/2 tsp thyme (if desired)

Mix all ingredients well and form into patties. Fry on medium heat until brown on both sides or freeze.
