Mom's Bourbon Balls Recipe

2 boxes powdered sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 cup bourbon
Pecan halves
1 small bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 bar paraffin (Gulf Wax)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and sugar together by hand in a large bowl
Add bourbon and mix well
Shape into balls and put a pecan half in the the middle of each ball
Put into refrigerator for at least 1/2 hour
In a double boiler melt the chocolate and paraffin
Using a toothpick, dip the bourbon balls into the chocolate mixture and lay on waxed paper until set
Store in refrigerator
