1 White Cake mix
2 cups sugar
1 8 oz. carton sour cream
1 12 oz. frozen coconut thawed
1 1/2 cup whipped topping

Directions:
Directions:
Bake cake mix according to directions on box
Split layers after they have cooled
Blend together the sugar,sour cream and coconut. Chill this mixture. Set aside 1 cup of the coconut mixture
Spread the rest of the coconut mixture between the layers.
Blend the 1 cup mixture with the w hipped topping
Spread the sides and top of cake.
Seal in an airtight container and refrigerate for 3 days

The best coconut cake you will ever have. This is one of Mom's best desserts. We remember that Uncle Dwaine would always like for Mother to either make him one or she would give him a large portion of the cake
