4 medium sized garden cucumbers or 2 European-style cucumbers
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/2 cup white vinegar
1//2 cup fresh dill or 2 tbsp. dill weed

Directions:

Cut cucumbers into paper-thin slices about 1/16 inch thick. Place into bowl. Combine sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar and dill. Pour over cucumbers. Stir to coat cucumbers. Cover tightly. Refrigerate 2 to 24 hours
