Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 Cups fresh cranberries (or 12-oz package)
1 Cup sugar
1 Cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse the cranberries and remove any that are damaged. In a medium saucepan bring the sugar and water to a boil. Add the cranberries. Heat to a boil again and cook the cranberries over medium heat until the skins of the cranberries begin to pop. Continue cooking until most of the skins have popped but the cranberries are not mushy and the liquid starts to thicken a little, this will take a few minutes. The longer it is cooked it the thicker it will be, you will have to judge this based on your own preferences. Remove from heat and cool to room temperate then refrigerate.

I usually pour it into a pretty glass or crystal serving bowl before refrigerating.
