5 lb. bag potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
1 large container heavy cream
garlic salt
pepper
gruyere cheese, grated
milk

Directions:
Directions:
Butter bottom and sides of 9"x12" Pyrex baking dish. Place on stove top burner on low heat. Layer 1/2 of the potatoes in baking dish. Pour heavy cream just to cover. Sprinkle potatoes with garlic salt & pepper. Layer in remaining potatoes, cover with remaining heavy cream. Top off with milk if needed, just to cover potatoes. Sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper. Transfer to oven. Bake at 350º until bubbling and potatoes are fork tender, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven and cover with grated gruyere cheese. Return to oven until cheese is melted and slightly browned. Enjoy!
