Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 1/2 to 3 cups Cushaw puree
1 large can Evaporated milk
3 eggs
3 TBS butter
½ C brown sugar
½ C granulated sugar
1 ½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp ginger
½ tsp fresh grated nutmeg
¼ tsp cloves (optional)
Pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Partially bake pie crust for 5 minutes or so.

Put everything in a pot, cook on low/medium low and stir until everything is melted and mixed. Cook about 8-10 minutes. Pour this into your pie shell and bake for 20 minutes then reduce oven temp to 325 and bake another 30-35 minutes.

This is a large pie that needs a deep dish pie plate, a regular one won’t hold all the filling. I recommend using the lard/vinegar pie crust
