1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup wheat germ or 1/4 cup ground flax
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 stick butter, softened
1/4 cup applesauce
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 ripe bananas
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup frozen blueberries

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mash bananas. Mix bananas, milk, and vanilla into creamed mixture. Mix all dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture, just until combined. Fold in frozen blueberries.

Bake at 375º for 25-28 minutes in muffin pans with paper liners. Let cool in pan 10 minute; transfer muffins to a rack to cool 10 minutes more.
