3 ½ T Yeast
6 T Soft Butter
2 C Milk
½ tsp Salt
⅔ C Sugar
2 tsp Cardamom
¾ C Graham Flour (or Ground Graham Crackers)
4 ½ C Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the butter and add milk. Warm to 98.6 º F. Mix the yeast with the graham flour and 2 cups of the flour. Add sugar, salt and cardamom. Add the milk/butter. Work dough 4 minutes in a machine or 7-8 minutes by hand, adding more flour until it becomes a solid dough. Let rise under a baking towel for 15 - 20 minutes. Put the dough on a floured surface and kneed it awhile. Add more flour if you need to until it separates easily from your hands and surface. Split the dough in 4 parts. Make a ball of roll of each part and cut 12 pieces from each. Form round, smooth balls and lie them on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Let rise for 20 minutes in a warm place under a baking towel. Brush with milk and bake in a pre-heated 475º oven for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
