32 oz. frozen fruit
1 box cake mix
12 oz. diet lemon-lime soda

Grease 13"x9" pan. Spread fruit over bottom of pan in even layer. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top of fruit. DO NOT MIX! Pour diet soda over top of cake mix powder. Bake covered with foil for 20 minutes at 350º and then remove foil and bake for an additional 40 minutes.

It is fun to experiment with different fruits and cake mix flavors. i have made this using canned fruit also. My favorite combination is cherries and chocolate cake mix. Triple berries mixed fruit such as raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries with yellow or white cake mix is the original recipe.
