1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 mashed bananas
1/2 c. nuts

Directions:
Directions:
1. Grease loaf pan. Preheat oven to 350º
2. Mash bananas. Mix in shortening, sugar, eggs. Add flour, baking soda, and salt, and mix well. Fold in nuts.
3. Bake for 1 hour, or until toothpick comes out clean.

Personal Notes:
This is Michael's favorite, even though he does not like bananas! You can make it healthier by substituting half the white flour with whole wheat flour, and using only half the sugar. Just as good!
