3/4 cup Shortening
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1/4 cup Molasses
2 cups Flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon Cloves
3/4 teaspoon Ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well together shortening, sugar, egg and molasses. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves and ginger. Add to above mixture. Form into small balls and roll in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
