1-2 lbs. of ham, cooked and diced.
1 can of Sauerkraut
1 bag of Spaetzle noodles (cooked)-found in HEB Plus International Food
1 large onion
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Boil Spaetzle and set aside.
In a pan, brown the diced onion and diced ham with 1-2 tbsp. butter.
Add spaetzle to onion and ham.
Slightly brown the mixture.
Add sauerkraut and simmer for 15-20 minutes. (Stirring occasionally)
Ready to serve.

This is one of our family favorites. My mother-in-law makes Krautspaezle for the family when we visit. This is also a very common dish at the German festivals in Bavaria.
