Ingredients:  
5-6 medium to large apples that are good for baking. (Golden Delicious, Gala, and then any others that look good, such as Cameo, Fuji, McIntosh, Pink Lady, Jonagold, Jonathans, Braeburn, and Rome Beauty.)
3 tbsp. of butter
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. of flour
2-3 tsp. of cinnamon
pinch of salt

Whipped Cream:
1 c. heavy whipping cream
1 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. vanilla
¼ tsp. cinnamon (optional)


Directions:

Place into a sauce pan with
3 tbsp. of butter
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. of flour
2-3 tsp. of cinnamon
pinch of salt

and simmer for about 30 min.

Serve warm with whipped cream.

Whipped cream:
1 c. heavy whipping cream
1 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. vanilla
¼ tsp. cinnamon (optional)

Beat until cream. (If you beat too long it will turn to sweet butter.)

Choose 5 to 6 medium to large apples that are good for baking. A mixture of at least 3 different types makes for the best flavor. I always use Golden Delicious & Gala, and then any others that look good, such as Cameo, Fuji, McIntosh, Pink Lady, Jonagold, Jonathans, Braeburn, and Rome Beauty. I have been known to use 6 different apples if they look good.
