2 1/4 cups AP flour
1t baking soda
1t salt
1cup soft margarine or butter
3/4cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 t vanilla
1/2 t water
2 small or 1 large egg
12oz. chocolate morsels
1 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
sift flour, baking soda, and salt, set aside

combine margarine, sugars, vanilla and water. beat until creamy

beat in eggs, add flour mixture, mix well

stir in morsels and nuts

bake 10-12 minutes

gran's cookies were famous in our neighborhood when I was growing up! many times she would keep the kitchen window open to let out the hot air and the neighbor kids would come running for a cookie.
