Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 envelopes gelatin
2 cups cold water
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup hot water
1/4 cup orange juice
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 cup nuts
1/4 tsp salt
red or green food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Heat sugar and hot water to boiling point. Meanwhile mix cold water and gelatin in a bowl and allow to stand 5 minutes. Then add softened gelatin to hot syrup and stir until dissolved. Boil slowly 20 minutes. Remove from heat and add orange juice and lemon juice to hot mixture. Add coloring. When it begins to thicken, add nuts and pour into pan that has been rinsed in cold water. Let stand overnight. Cut ant roll in granulated sugar.

Lois's note: I prefer the granulated sugar to the powdered. I've tried lots of Turkish Delight recipes but this is the tastiest and best, I think.
