2 cups milk (scalded)
3 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
dash nutmeg
1/3 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs slightly, add sugar and salt. Add scalded milk. Pour into pie shell. Put in at 450 oven and reset control at 350 and bake 40 to 50 minutes.

Variations -

Coconut Custard Pie, added 1/2 cup of shredded coconut

Chocolate Custard Pie -- Add 2 squares of grated chocolate. Chocolate will rise to top and make a dark crust over top - very nice.
