1 cup Monarch Rice (Pearl Rice is best - comes in blue box)
4 cups Water
1 tbsp Butter or Margarine

1 can Evaporated Milk
1/3 cup Water
1/2 cup Sugar
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Put rice, water and margarine in a large glass oven proof bowl and into the oven at 350º F for 45 minutes. (Until most of the water is absorbed).

Add 1 can of evaporated milk, water, sugar and vanilla.

Put back in the oven at 350º for 1 hour.
