6 med. Sweet Potatoes
1 1/2 cups Apple slices, divided
1/2 cup Brown Sugar, divided
1/2 tsp. Salt, divided
1 tsp. ground Mace, divided
4 Tbsp. Butter, divided + enough to grease a 2 qt. casserole dish

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and cook sweet potatoes in boiling water (enough to cover) until just tender. Peel and cut into cross-wise slices 1/4" thick. Butter a 2 quart casserole and arrange half the sweet potatoes on bottom. Then layer with 3/4 cup apple slices. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon ground mace. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Repeat layering with the other half of all ingredients. Cook in 350º oven for about 50 minutes.
