1 bag Jackson Vanilla Wafers
8 tablespoons flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
bananas
4 cups scalded milk
4 eggs (separated)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup sugar for meringue

Directions:
Directions:
Separate eggs placing yolks in small bowl, set aside. Put egg whites in large bowl and set aside to later make meringue.

Mix flour, 1 cup sugar and salt in top of double boiler, slowly stir in hot milk and cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Stir a little a hot mixture into beaten egg yolks, pour back into double boiler, cook about 2 more minutes. Remove from heat, add vanilla and cool until just warm.

Alternate layers of Jackson's Vanilla Wafers, sliced bananas and pudding in a baking dish. Beat egg whites until foamy, add 1/4 cup sugar gradually, beat until stiff. Pile lightly on pudding. Bake in hot oven about 8 minutes or until golden brown. Preheat oven to 400º
