1½ cups white sugar
¾ cup butter, softened and divided
1 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1½ cups mashed bananas
2 tsp. vanilla + ½ T.
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
½ cup walnuts, chopped
2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°. In large bowl, beat sugar, sour cream, ½ butter and eggs together on low for about 1 minute. Beat in bananas and vanilla on low speed 3 minutes. Add flour, salt and baking soda on medium speed and mix well. Stir in nuts. Spread mixture into a sprayed 15½x10½x1 inch baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes or until light brown. Cool.
Frost with Vanilla Glaze: In medium bowl mix together powdered sugar, ¼ cup butter, ½ T. vanilla and 2 T. hot water until smooth. Frost bars and refrigerate until set up before cutting.
Serves about 12-16.
