1 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
¾ cup sugar
2 T. cocoa
½ cup milk
2 T. shortening, melted

Directions:
Directions:
In medium bowl, mix together first five ingredients.Stir in milk and shortening. Spread in sprayed 9X9 inch square pan.
TOPPING
1 cup brown sugar, packed
¼ cup cocoa
1¾ cup boiling water
Mix together sugar and cocoa and sprinkleover batter evenly. Pour water over topping. Bake at 350º for
45 minutes.
Serve hot out of oven with vanilla ice cream.
