1/2 stick of butter
3 chopped green onions
3 stalks of celery with leaves, chopped
2 carrots, grated
2 cans chicken broth
3 cans of potato soup
8 oz. grated or shredded cheddar cheese
parsley flakes
8 oz. sour cream
3 T. cooking sherry
salt and coarse ground pepper
a few drops of tabasco sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and saute' onion, celery, and carrots. Add broth, cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Add soups, cheese parsley, tabasco sauce, salt and pepper. Stir in sour cream. Simmer for 15 minutes. Add sherry and stir.
