1 c chopped onion
1 c chopped green pepper
1 T butter or margarine (or olive oil)
1 can (28 oz) tomatoes with liquid (crushed Italian flavor)
1 can (4 oz) mushroom pieces, drained
1 can (2 1/4 oz) sliced ripe olives, drained
2 tsp dried oregano (can omit if use Italian tomatoes)
1 lb ground beef browned and drained
12 oz spaghetti cooked and drained
2 c (8 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
1 c mushroom soup - undiluted
1/4 c H2O
1/4 c grated parmesan

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet sauté onion and green pepper in olive oil until tender
Add tomatoes, mushrooms, olives and oregano
Add ground beef. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes
Place 1/2 of spaghetti in greased 13x9x2 baking dish
Top with 1/2 the tomato sauce mixture
Sprinkle with 1 c of cheddar cheese
Repeat layers
Mix soup and H2O until smooth. Pour over casserole
Sprinkle with paremesan
Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 -35 minutes or until heated through
