STREUSEL
Butter or hard margarine 2 tsp. 10 ml
Brown sugar 2 tbsp. 30 ml
All-purpose flour 1 1/2 tsp. 7 ml
Ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp. 1 ml.
Chopped walnuts or pecans 2 tbsp. 30 ml

CAKE
Butter or hard margarine, softened 2 tbsp. 30 ml
Granulated sugar 1/4 cup 60 ml
Large egg 1 1

All-purpose Flour 3/4 cup 175 ml
Baking powder 1/2 tsp. 2 ml
Salt 1/8 tsp. 0.5 ml

Milk 1/3 cup 75ml

Steusel: Melt butter in small saucepan. Stir in sugar, flour, cinnamon and walnuts

Cake: Beat butter, sugar and egg together in bowl.

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together in small bowl.
Add 1/2 to batter. Stir to moisten

Stir in milk. Add second 1/2 flour mixture. Stir to moisten. Turn into a greased 7 3/4 x 3 3/4 c 2 1/2 inch foil loaf pan. Sprinkle streusel over top. Bake in 350F oven for 25 to 30 min. An inserted wooden pick should come out clean.
