1 - 32 oz. package of frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, slightly thawed
1 - 16 oz. carton of sour cream
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 stick margarine melted
1 medium onion finely chopped
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a large 9 x 13 casserole dish, separate the potatoes with a fork after nearly thawed. In a mixing bowl, mix soup, sour cream, salt, grated onion, melted margarine, and cheese. Pour over potatoes and mix gently.
Additional grated cheese can be sprinkled on top if desired. Bake 1 hour or longer in a 350 degree oven.
