1# dried apples
2 quarts water
2 quarts highbush cranberries
6 cups sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp salt
1 lemon, grated rind and juice
Directions:
Directions:
Soak dried apples in water for 1 hour. Add cranberries and cook until soft. Put the pulp thru a sieve or food mill. Reheat and add sugar, salt and spices. Cook until clear. Removed from heat and add lemon juice and grated rind. Spoon into jars and seal.
