9" pie crust, baked and cooled
1 c. crushed strawberries
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. butter
red food coloring
sliced strawberries
Directions:
Directions:
Cook crushed berries, water, sugar, cornstarch and lemon juice until clear. Add butter and food coloring. Cool. Place desired amount of sliced strawberries in pie shell. Pour cooked mixture over berries. Chill. Serve with whipped topping.
