1 1/2 to 2 lbs lamb and/or beef stew meat
1 onion, chopped
2-3 carrots, sliced
1-2 turnips
3-4 red potatoes
Apple cider
Chicken or beef broth
Water
Flour
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown cubed meat, then cover with liquid (I use a combination of apple cider, broth & water).
Cook 1 1/2 hours, or until tender.
Add onion, carrot & turnips. Cook 30 minutes more.
Add potatoes and cook 20 minutes more.
Thicken with flour mixed to a paste in cold water.
Season to taste.
