1 large bad of coleslaw mix OR thinly slice 1 small cabbage
1/2 cu shredded carrots (optional if slicing own cabbage)
1/2 c sliced almonds
1/2 c sunflower seeds (with out shells)
1 small can Chinese noodles
Dressing:
1 c vegetable or Canola oil
1/2 c vinegar
1/2 c sugar - or more to taste

Mix dressing well. Pour over slaw and all other ingredients and toss well.

I like to add some red cabbage for color - but not necessary.
If only serving 2 people, make half this recipe since left over do not keep well. If you must save some, pour off dressing and save for later use in fridge. I got this recipe form visiting Mary in Georgia, but she got it from Pittsburgh!
