3 eggs, well beaten
1 pkg. light brown sugar (2 1/4 c.)
3/4 c. melted butter
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (2 c.)
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together eggs, light brown sugar and melted butter. Add flour, baking powder, salt and chocolate chips. Add nuts if desired. Bake in greased pans on 350º for 35 minutes or until lightly browned.

If using self-rising flour, omit the baking powder and salt.
