10 c. Bugles
1 c. cashews
1c. pecans
1 stick of butter, no substitutes
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light Karo syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together Bugles and nuts in a large bowl; set aside. In a large sauce pan, mix the butter, brown sugar, syrup and salt. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring continuously 3-4 minutes. Then boil another 4-5 minutes without stirring. Take off burner and add the baking soda and vanilla. pour mixture over Bugles. Place Bugles on a jelly roll pan. Bake at 300º for 15 minutes. Stir to coat evenly and bake another 10 minutes. Cool on a clean counter or 2 large cookie sheets.
