3 eggs, divided
1/2 c. sugar
2 T. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Box of vanilla wafers
Bananas
1/4 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine egg yolks (set aside whites for meringue), 1/2 c. sugar, flour and salt in saucepan. Slowly stir in milk. Stir constantly over medium to medium-high heat until thick. (It takes awhile!) Remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Alternate pudding, vanilla wafers and sliced bananas in a 2 qt. baking dish. Use egg whites to make meringue. Beat whites until fluffy, slowly add in 1/4 c. sugar until desired consistency. Top pudding with meringue and lightly brown in oven under broiler.
