Cake:

1/2 c. butter or crisco
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. banana pulp (3 med. bananas, mashed)
1/3 c. sour milk (add 1T. vinegar to sour milk)
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda (add to sour milk)
2/3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Frosting:
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar

3/4 c. milk
3 T. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cake: Cream fat and sugar. Beat till light, add eggs. Mix well and add banana pulp. Add vanilla, flour, salt, baking powder. Add sour milk and baking soda. Beat well. Bake at 375º for 25 - 30 minutes.

Frosting:
Mix shortening, butter and sugar till creamy. Warm stirring constantly, the milk and the flour. Let cool slightly then mix with sugar mixture till creamy; add the vanilla. Pour over cooled cake.
