1 stick ( 1/2 cup) Butter or Margarine
1 c Sugar
1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 c Flour
3/4 c Milk
8 c Blackberries
1 1/2 c Sugar
4 tbls Cornstarch

Tame Berries - use brown sugar
Wild Berries - use white sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 1 stick butter in 9 x 13 pan
Mix in a bowl, 1 c sugar, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 c flour, and 3/4 c milk
Pour mixture on top of butter (do not stir)
Add the blackberry mixture (berries, sugar and cornstarch) on top of the butter
Bake at 350º for 30-45 minutes
