Ingredients: 2 lbs beef flank steak, scored 1 clove garlic 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 4-6 slices bacon 1/2 cup flour 1 can (8 ounce) tomato sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon marjoram leaves 1 Tablespoon snipped parsley 1/2 cup chopped onion

Directions:Rub steak with garlic. Sprinkle with the salt and pepper. Cut meat crosswise in to 4-6 serving pieces.
In large skillet, cook bacon. Drain bacon and reserve 2 tablespoons dripping in skillet,
Place slice of bacon on each piece of meat. Roll up and secure with toothpicks. Coat rolls with flour and brown in the bacon drippings over medium heat.
Stir together remaining ingredients. Pour over meat and cover tightly. Simmer 45 to 60 minutes or until tender.
Place rolls on warm platter. remove toothpicks. Heat sauce to boiling stirring constantly and pour over rolls. |

Notes: I also make this recipe with round steak. Prepare the same and put in crockpot and cover with the sauce. Cook on low during the day. Good served with rice.
