2 tablespoons butter
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup sliced celery
2 cups diced potatoes
2 cups water
salt
pepper
2 cans (15 oz) corn
2 cups evaporated milk
1/4 cup flour
diced bacon (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In a 2-qt or larger saucepan, saute butter, onion, and celery until tender and lightly browned. Add potatoes, water and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook 15 minutes or until potatoes are fork-tender.
Add corn and milk. Heat through. Add 1/4 cup flour. Stir over heat until thickened.
Garnish with bacon if desired.
