2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 T. cocoa

Frosting:
1 stick butter
4 T. cocoa
1/3 c. buttermilk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 c. nuts

Directions:
Directions:
DO NOT USE MIXER! Combine flour and sugar in large bowl. In saucepan, combine and boil butter, water and cocoa. Pour over flour and sugar. Combine buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla. Add to other mixture and stir together. Pour into a 12x18 baking pan and bake for 22 minutes @ 400º.

Frosting:
When cake has been cooking 18 minutes, combine in saucepan: butter, cocoa and buttermilk. Bring to a boil and add: powdered sugar and nuts. Pour over hot cake when it is removed from oven.
