2 1/2 c. seasoned croutons
2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 1/2 lb. link sausage
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. milk
dash of pepper
3/4 tsp. mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 soup can of milk

Directions:
Directions:
Place croutons in greased 9x13 baking dish. Top croutons with 1 1/2 c. cheese. Brown sausage, drain and cut into slices. Arrange over the top of cheese. Beat eggs, 2 1/2 c. milk and seasonings. Pour over sausage. Refrigerate overnight. In the morning top the strata with soup which has been diluted with additional milk. Sprinkle on the remaining 1/2 c. cheese. Bake @ 300º for 1 hour.
