2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
6 ripe bananas, mashed
4 eggs, well beaten
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening.
Add bananas and eggs. Mix well.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Blend wet and dry ingredients.
DO NOT OVER MIX.
Pour into two lightly greased and floured loaf pans
Bake 45-50 minutes at 305 degrees.
CHECK CENTER FOR DONENESS AS PAN SIZES VARY SO MUCH.
