Ingredients:
Ingredients:
¼ cup soft butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 large very ripe bananas, mashed (I freeze them till I want them)
1 tsp vanilla
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
¾ cup yogurt

Chocolate Marble
2 tbsp granulated sugar
4 tsp sifted unsweetened cocoa powder (I like Fry’s best)
4 tsp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F
Use a 9 inch Bundt pan (or Angel Food Pan sprayed with nonstick vegetable spray)

In large bowl cream together margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla until well mixed.

Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda; add to bowl alternatively with yogurt, mixing just until blended

Pour all but ½ cup batter into cake pan

Marble
Combine sugar, cocoa and milk; add to reserved batter, blending well. Pour over batter in pan; draw knife through mixture to create marbled effect.

Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted into centre comes out clean.
Let it cool for a bit before you cut it. Serve with or without butter!

Personal Notes:
Mom never wasted old bananas. This is not her recipe, but we loved warm Banana Bread.
