"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
2 c. water
1 milk jug for trees
1 cottage cheese carton for strawberries

Directions:
Directions:
Put 1 cup water and 1 cup vinegar in a gallon plastic milk jug. Shake to dissolve sugar. Add 2 cups water and shake again. Hang one or two jugs on each fruit tree before blossoms open. For strawberries: Place the cottage cheese cartons in the ground between the rows with just about one inch above the ground. Add the sugar mixture. Place the lid with a hole cut in the top on the carton. This will catch a lot of the black fruit bugs that can ruin the strawberries. For the trees it combats the worms getting in the fruit.
