(6) 2 cups milk
(9) 3 egg yolks
(3) 1 cup sugar
(3/4) 1/4 tsp salt
(6) 2 cups half and half
(12) 4 tsp vanilla

Directions:

1. Scald milk in a double boiler 2. Beat egg yolks, sugar and salt 3. Pour scalded milk over beaten mixture. 4. Return to double boiler and cook unit it coats a spoon. 5. allow mixture to cool 6. add the cream and vanilla and freeze.
