2 # 10 cans of whole San Marzano tomatoes or the equivalent of homegrown
4 -6 onions
6 T chopped garlic
1/3 cup olive oil
1 can tomato soup
1 small can tomato paste
2 cups basil
Salt
4 bay leaves

Directions:
Directions:
In your largest saucepan, sauté onions and garlic in olive oil add 1 can of tomato soup and 1 can of tomato paste. Stir on low for a few minutes. Add whole tomatoes and mash with a mash potato masher. Add salt to taste. Add four bay leaves and basil and simmer on low.
Serve over your favorite pasta.
